IMC Logistics Plans Expansion into Canada

In 2026, IMC Logistics will open a new marine drayage operation in Toronto. This marks our first expansion outside of the United States and a major milestone in our long-term strategy to better serve our customers.

The Toronto operation will enhance our ability to support freight moving between the U.S. and Canada, offering seamless, end-to-end service for customers operating in both markets. The new location will also provide domestic marine drayage within Canada.

“This expansion is part of an effort to better support Canadian shippers who are broadening their sourcing strategies to stay competitive” says Joel Henry, Chief Executive Officer for IMC. “The resulting rise in containerized volumes positions IMC to deepen its partnerships with current customers and capitalize on new growth opportunities.”

We expect the Toronto operation to be fully operational in the second quarter of 2026, and we look forward to sharing more details as they evolve.
